There is possibly no better way to end a fantastic hunting safari than to spend a few days on the Mighty Zambezi River and do some tiger fishing.

The tiger fish has been officially recognised by the International Game Fishing Association as a game fish that offers a riveting fight that any angler would enjoy. 

The two best areas for tiger fishing are on the Zambezi River in Chirundu, and on Lake Kariba. Both areas offer fantastic game viewing opportunity as animals come in for a drink. 

Other fish species that may be caught on the River are, Bream (Tilapia), Cat Fish, Nkupe, Chessa, Electric Barbel, Electric Eel, Bottlenose, Cornish Jack, Vundu, Labeo and others. However, tiger fishing is very seasonal and the best times are from October through to December.
